About the Course

Modern era is the age of information explosion. Mass Media is one of the components and it has vital role to play and has created numerous job opportunities as well. Media has started playing vital role in day to day decision making. This has thrown new challenges and opportunities before media persons. Media persons have to bear new kind of Pressure. These new challenges necessitated need for an institution which could cater to the new demands and challenges of Journalism.Vedmurti Taponishtha Pandit ShriRam Sharma Acharya had started such venture long back in 1930s and met the challenges of those times effectively. Mass media of today is apt with technical soundness, enormous infrastructure but it lacks responsibilities and core value system. Our endeavor is to produce journalists who could deliver without compromising with core value system and without shrinking from social responsibilities. Thats why we have made ART OF Living paper compulsory for the aspirants of this course.Entire course has been divided into four semesters and each semester has several modules. Due emphasis has been laid on Practical and Contemporary aspects. The course has been made fully residential in order to pay personal attention and develop competence.
